ICP Dental Group Specializes in Porcelain Veneers in Boynton Beach FL
Your smile has a bigger effect on everyday life than you may think. A lot of times your smile is the first thing people see when they meet someone. A beautiful smile can have a positive effect on you and others and be contagious, but a smile may also have a negative effect. This situation occurs when teeth are damaged, chipped, cracked, decayed, discolored, gapped, worn down, discolored, or crooked. Porcelain veneers could be your solution to correcting and enhancing your smile. Not everyone was born with a perfect smile, but veneers may be the solution to bring back your confidence with a beautiful smile. Let ICP Dental help you determine if porcelain veneers are right for you.
Porcelain veneers are thin pieces of ceramic porcelain. The thinness or covering can be described as contact lens or a press on nails for your teeth. They are conservative preparations that save your valuable tooth structure. They are bonded to your teeth resulting in strength and durability. Veneers are best planned and placed by a prosthodontist. The prosthodontists at ICP Dental have the specialized training to plan your customized smile.
Porcelain veneers can be finalized in just a few visits with our prosthodontic.
At your first visit, we will discuss your concerns and goals as we design your new smile. Porcelain Veneers Case Study 03
This patient presented with older defective veneers and crowns. He also had what is referred to as a “gummy smile”. The patient’s main concern was to reestablish his bite that was breaking down. It was decided to maximize his esthetics while the bite was being corrected. The first step was to correct his “gummy smile” so that he wouldn’t show his gums in his smile. Gum contouring was completed and when the gums healed a combination of veneers and porcelain crowns were used to finalize his smile. Veneers and crowns were done as a smile makeover. The patient’s smile was completely transformed but more importantly his bite was reestablished to a comfortable and natural state. A smile analysis and bite analysis were done prior to touching the patient’s teeth. This allowed the customized treatment to be created for him. This plan required prosthodontic planning and skilled dental ceramist prior to initiation to complete a smile enhancement with porcelain veneers.
Porcelain Veneers Case Study 02
This patient presented with severely worn down teeth. Some of these teeth had over 70% tooth destruction. The patient wanted to recreate his smile and bring back the shape of his teeth that was lost. Veneers were done as a smile makeover. The veneers were the choice of treatment and not crowns because of the minimal tooth structure remaining. This was a conservative treatment plan that would recreate the patient’s teeth without removing the valuable remaining tooth structure. An analysis of the patient’s bite had to be reviewed to determine if this was the right plan for the patient. A different patient might have had a completely different plan in the same scenario. This plan required prosthodontic planning and skilled dental ceramist prior to initiation to complete a smile enhancement with porcelain veneers.
Porcelain Veneers Case Study 01
This patient presented with thinned and chipped two front teeth that were rotated inward. She wanted to enhance her smile. We discussed whitening her teeth and doing prep-less porcelain veneers on her two front teeth. This was a conservative treatment plan that did not destroy the patient’s valuable enamel. Prep-less veneers were possible because her teeth were rotated inward and the veneers created would align her teeth. This plan required prosthodontic planning and skilled dental ceramist prior to initiation to complete a smile enhancement with porcelain veneers.
